The Somali Youth Resilience Committee (SYRC) is a non-profit, youth-led, community-driven organization founded in 2015. We are committed to empowering young people across Somalia to become active, resilient, and productive members of society.
We work at the intersection of education, health, livelihoods, and protectionaddressing the root causes of vulnerability while promoting sustainable community transformation.

Our Journey
Founded in 2015 by a group of committed young professionals, SYRC was established to respond to the challenges facing Somali youth, including unemployment, limited access to education, and social vulnerability.
Over the years, SYRC has grown into a trusted organization delivering impactful programs across key sectors, empowering communities and promoting resilience across Somalia.
